The use of Perforated Metal

Perforated metal is an effective way to enliven a simple cubed structure. This
shading device has the ability to add depth and texture.

In this office building the steel mesh was draped to cover windows from direct sunlight whilst it appears to hover above the ground.

When perforated cladding is viewed from the inside it is virtually invisible, depending on the size of perforations. Large perforations allow more light to pass through but still offer protection. It also provides privacy from the observer on the outside.

Perforated and expanded metal can be used on façades, balustrades and cladding in Residential, Public and Commercial Buildings.
